Hermann Services Southwest Forms Strategic Alliance with American Warehouses, Inc. in Houston, TX

Renowned for its operational efficiencies and expertise, American Warehouses will spearhead the operations management at both facilities. Hermann Services Southwest supports the alliance with expertise in logistics and a state-of-the-art transportation fleet for turnkey distribution services throughout North America. Hermann’s Southwest Warehouse facility is located in La Porte, TX, with immediate access to key shipping arteries for distribution throughout the United States and serves as a port terminal for the PTRA, BNSF, and Union Pacific railroads.

American Warehouses is located just north of downtown Houston on 57 acres to offer significant ground surface storage. It also provides convenient access to Port of Houston as well as Houston’s major highways and uses its own Union Pacific rail spur. Together the alliance presents over 1.3 million sq. ft. of ambient, cooler, and hazmat storage.

Ryan Burke, President of American Warehouses, has assumed a senior management position at the Hermann Southwest warehouse facility and will oversee all day-to-day activities of both facilities. Jeffrey Hermann, Vice President, Hermann Services, will oversee all sales activities and spearhead logistics solutions for supply chain solutions.
