“For us, it’s not about the recognition. As a family-focused company, this cause is dear to all of us. We started our charitable arm, Hermann Cares, as a way to connect with and give to our community, and what better connection than by helping deliver joy to children in need during the holidays?” says Jeff Hermann, President and CEO of Hermann Services.
Through the years, Hermann Services has encouraged employees, customers, partners, vendors, and the community to donate toys to the cause. Every location hosts donation boxes, and employees share the link to an Amazon wish list for simplified giving. The donations we collect in every location are awe-inspiring.
In December, associates at the corporate headquarters in Monmouth Junction, NJ, hosted a community-wide toy drive. Snacks and warm drinks were provided, Nomad Pizza was onsite to serve lunch, and Santa Claus made an appearance to take pictures with everyone.
“We have a great relationship with the South Brunswick Police, and
they helped promote the toy drive which contributed to its success,” remarks Jeff Hermann. “That won’t be the last time we host a toy drive at our office.”
We donated over $30,000 worth of toys in 2022!
We also have plans to develop our first trailer wraps for Toys for Tots. With new trailers arriving this year, it was the perfect time to create a new design and apply it to a brand new unit. The two trailers will make rounds on deliveries throughout the Eastern and Southwest US.
And stay tuned for this winter – we will be hosting our first annual Toys for Tots Gala to raise awareness and donations for this amazing cause.
