Her enthusiasm for supporting members of the Hermann organization in addition to her insights on social media success have been invaluable for promoting personal and organizational successes, celebrating ‘throwback Thursdays’ on our social platforms, and pulling off memorable events.
Brooke joined Hermann Services in November of 2022. With a degree in public communications from Rider University and previous experience as a social media and marketing coordinator at a central NJ law firm, she immediately fit in to the social media and events teams here at Hermann Services.
With November and December traditionally being busy months with Wreaths Across America, our Toys for Tots drive, and holiday events, Brooke dove right in and played a huge role in creating internal and external promotions, as well as physically helping out at each event.
“She was so enthusiastic and eager to learn about the company culture and processes. It made the busy time of year easier!” Danielle Novotny, Sr. Marketing Manager and Brooke’s supervisor, said.
In a little over a year, Brooke has truly grown in her role which encompasses social media, content writing, and event management. “She is such a great asset here,” said Lisa Burke, Customer Service Representative for Hermann Warehouse. “When I was working with a couple of associates on their goals, one of their goals was to understand LinkedIn. Brooke provided individual training, assisted them with their profile page, and gave positive reinforcement.”
By helping the Hermann staff learn about LinkedIn and gain confidence in being active on the platform, she not only helps boost engagement on the company profile page but allows our staff to provide their insight into the company, culture, and things they enjoy even outside of work.
Around the corporate office, Brooke has made many connections and friends. “I love working with Brooke! She is thoughtful, bright, and just a sweet girl. I have enjoyed watching her gain confidence and grow into her position,” remarked Kathleen Glaeser, Fleet Maintenance and Asset Manager.
Ebony Hunter, executive administrative assistant, said, “Brooke has been an outstanding colleague; she offers so many great ideas and helps me out whenever I need assistance. With her shy nature yet inviting personality mixed with her willingness to help others, she has become a great asset to Hermann Services. I have worked on large and small projects with Brooke, and she is very persistent and kind.”
“I appreciate her support and contributions as well as enthusiasm, engagement, and desire to always do more,” said Jeff Hermann, Chairman and CEO. “What impresses me a lot is that she consistently arrives to work fifteen minutes before her start time, and being in this industry, ‘when you’re early, you’re on time, and if you’re on time, you’re late’.”
“Brooke has fit right into the Hermann culture and has been a huge asset to the marketing team,” said Danielle Novotny. “She’s an insightful social media manager and an absolute pleasure to have around the office. I’m thankful to work with her, and I look forward to seeing what more she’ll accomplish during her time here at Hermann!”
