Vincent Vizinia
Vincent started working for Hermann Services over 7 years ago as a driver for the company. He enjoys a lot about the job, like, “the freedom, home time, and I get good loads.” He went on to say, “They do a lot other companies haven’t, as far as helping employees. When a hurricane hits, you’re expected to go home and stay safe. They aren’t forcing anyone back on the road, you can tell it’s more like a family .” The safety and well-being of our drivers is more than just a testament to our safety values, it also reinforces the company-wide family values that we’ve held since 1927. We use the latest technology to keep our drivers and everyone else on the road safe.
One of Vincent’s favorite memories at Hermann Services so far has been talking with our Senior Manager of Driver Recruiting and Engagement, Christine VanHise. “When I was first getting started with the company, we talked like normal people instead of her being ‘sales-y,’ she’s a good person .” The feeling is mutual as Christine also raves about Vince: “Vince has been such an asset to our company. He is easy-going, hard-working, and always a pleasure to talk to. Whenever I see his name pop up on my phone whether it be text or call, I look forward to our conversation,” she said.
Vincent brings such great energy to the team! His positive spirit is contagious and appreciated by everyone. His Driver Manager, Hope Deleon, says “Vincent is a great person always in great spirits and I have no complaints he’s one of my easier drivers to work with.”
Outside of work, Vincent enjoys going to the gym, spending time with his family, fishing, and riding motorcycles. One of his greatest accomplishments is raising his two kids. A fan of classic cinema, he cites “My Cousin Vinny” as his favorite film.
