Along with slides, video games, and prizes, educational displays were set up by the police department, first aid squads, and fire departments. These departments even competed against each other in a tug-of-war competition. “National Night Out is our best opportunity to come out and talk to our community members, hear their concerns, celebrate their accomplishments, and forge relationships which will last for years to come,” said Lieutenant Eugene Rickle of the South Brunswick police department.
“We are looking forward to holding an even bigger and better event next year!” he continued.
The Hermann tent, located right off the main parking lot, featured a Hermann truck and a magician! We gave out sunglasses, fidget spinners, golf stress balls, and custom water bottles all adorned with our Hermann logo. We even brought Nomad Pizza along with us to serve pizza at the tent next to ours. Our trailer wrapped for Rutgers Road to Supply Chain Program was also on-site to promote our partnership.
Thank you to the South Brunswick Police Department and volunteers who helped make this possible! Hermann Services was honored to be a Diamond Sponsor for such an important, community-building event. We look forward to next year and already have some new ideas for the fun we can bring to the event!
