Earlier this year, the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce organized awards to honor business leaders in the community with their Legacy of Leadership Awards.

Jeffrey Hermann, President and CEO, of Hermann Services was honored to receive the Business Leader of the Year award. Throughout his tenure, Jeff has made it his mission to ensure that Hermann Services provides excellent service and fosters a supportive and engaging work environment.

Jeff believes it’s crucial to give back to the communities in which the company operates in. That’s why Hermann Cares, the charitable arm of the company, was created. Hermann Services partners with organizations across the country to educate, communicate, and much more. They do this by collaborating with local chambers of commerce, national organizations, food pantries, local schools, and colleges. He also actively supports a company-wide environment that has fun and celebrates all associates. Employee spotlights, hosting lunches on-premises, and ensuring that all staff are heard are just a handful of examples of the culture Jeff has maintained.

Outside of the company, Jeff is an active member of local chambers of commerce, boards, and other groups supporting the community.

As the chair of the South Brunswick Economic Development Committee, Jeff contributes to the economic sustainability of the township. This committee is dedicated to encouraging businesses and industries to view South Brunswick as an attractive investment location. It also provides a platform for the government and municipalities to discuss economic development issues affecting the township.

He is also involved in Rutgers Business School’s “Road to Supply Chain Leadership Program” (RSCL), which aims to prepare future industry leaders for the real-world business challenges they will face. Jeff serves as a member of the Business School’s Board of Advisors where he provides input to the school’s programs, and Hermann Services offers internships to broaden students’ understanding of the supply chain and build their confidence as a competitive candidate in the job market.

Congratulations, Jeff, for receiving the Business Leader of the Year!
