With over 120 guests in attendance, it was truly a special night to celebrate the evening’s honorees:
What made the event truly special for us was being able to publicly celebrate Lieutenant John Penney of the South Brunswick Police Department. In thanking Lieutenant Penney, we’d be remiss if we didn’t also extend thanks to South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka for allowing us to work with such a great person. We feel that he’s added much to our workplace environment and been crucial to the success of our events last year. We would also like to extend our thanks to the entire South Brunswick Police Department, South Brunswick Mayor Charlie Carley, and the South Brunswick Council for their support.
In 2022 we were introduced to Lieutenant Penney and had the
privilege to work with him on a few of our events: the Old Timer Homecoming Parade and the Corporate Office Grand Re-Opening.
He jumped right into our events, offering dozens of great ideas to increase the enjoyment and safety of both events. Lieutenant Penney was also instrumental in connecting Hermann Services to the other emergency service organizations in the county who participated in both events.
Outside of his involvement with Hermann, Lieutenant Penney has received many awards and has been recognized for outstanding service by his commanders and colleagues. A few of them include:
Congratulations, Lieutenant John Penney, on your Hometown Hero Award!
